Danica is the result of a collection of original paintings and illustrations made by Daniela Calandra, passionate architect, tireless observer, music and sea lover.

The logo is a free interpretation of the 'Calandra' , a small greyish brown mediterranean bird with large black patches on the breast and a nice musical song.

Daniela Calandra is born in Erice (Sicily) in 1980, graduated at the University of architecture  in Venice in 2005.  In 2006 she moves to Barcelona where she continues her training and professional architectural career.

In 2020 she decides to return to one of her great youth passions: artistic drawing and painting and founds the 'Danica paintings and illustrations'  where she explores different artistic techniques applied to drawing.
